What is cache file?

The cache file is a type of file hidden in a local drive or on a hard drive. When you visit a web page or do a large graphical job on your computer, the cache file is created and stored on the hard drive. When you later visit those same web pages or work in the same file, then those cache files stored on the hard drive will help you work faster. You can delete these cache files if needed. But it is interesting that if you delete the cache files, they will be created again.
