Introduction of Microsoft Office Word 2007

A file of Microsoft Office Word is called document. Here '2007' is represent the version of Microsoft Office Word. Extension part of a file of Microsoft Office Word 2007 is .docx. In earlier version of MS Word, it was .doc.

✓ To Start Microsoft Office Word 2007 using Start Menu
Click to Start button, point to All Programs, click Microsoft Office folder, Select Microsoft Office Word 2007.

✓ To Start Microsoft Office Word 2007 using Run dialog box
• Click to Start button, click to Run (or, press Windows key + R).
• Type winword and click on Run button.

✓ To open an existing word file
• Click on Microsoft Office button and click to Open (Open dialog box will open). Or, press Ctrl + O.
• In Open dialog box, navigate to the the folder that contains the file you want to open.
Select the file you want to open.
• Click on Open.
✓ To create a new word file
• Click on Microsoft Office button and click to New (then New Document window will appear).
• Double click on Blank Document.
Or, Press Ctrl + N

✓ To Save a file
• Click on Microsoft Office button and click on Save as (Save as dialog box will appear).
Navigate to the folder, where you want to save the file.
• Type a file name in the File Name box and click on Save.
